Landscape Lighting
On my morning walks in Italy last April, I discovered this little wine shack hidden below a hill. It has that small garden appeal suggesting the continued efforts of someone growing a few vines possibly for their own wine consumption. It was raining or very cloudy most of our trip inspiring me to paint some misty cloudy days.
Let me know if you enjoy seeing this partial view of a piece in progress. Right now, there are several paintings in the works. Here, the values of the distant fields are established as they come forward to a place that has a touch of sun. The sides of this painting are only roughed in. It will be fun to show you this completed piece later.
