Bunny Business – Painting of the Week

Having Fun

Having Fun

We had bunnies when I was a kid and mine was named…Bugs Bunny. So original! These long-eared Angora rabbits were delightfully fluffy and remind me of him. White reflects color and they needed some to stand out, so a big quilt was chosen to do that.

In this painting, you see paint change from transparent to opaque, linear to blocky, and color moves from bright to dull. Very loosely painted, I must have been in the zone that day. Nothing is perfect, but it was imperfectly perfect!

Sincerely,
