Rewards for Persistence
A good Fishing Spot is a well kept secret. I will wait for a boat to bob around into an interesting shape to take its’ picture, but how long fishermen sit is beyond me. Bait, patience and timing factor into their success. Six of my friends friends went fishing yesterday. On Island lake, three guys caught 4 fish between them, and the other three guys fishing on Lake of the Woods caught 54! For some reason, this makes me think of algebra.
A license isn’t required to paint, and a phone camera is a wonderful tool. Like the fisherman, more than a few paintings get thrown away. Some are big paintings, some are small and many you should have stopped working on sooner. On a loser, the backside of the paper is worth more than the front, but you usually learn something. It’s always exciting to get a keeper.
