Painting of the Week

Painting of the Week – Good Worker

Working  from Home

Parked at home like “Good Worker”?  For almost everyone, this is a recent adjustment.  Here are some issues I deal with working at home:

  • Falling asleep at the computer?  Take a 15 minute nap.  I do this by setting my timer, and then boring my brain to death. Think about relaxing your forehead muscles more and more… believe me, it’s dull.
  • Beware of over-blabbing, caused by not talking to people for days and then saying way too much. Perhaps talking to your self is a good idea. Journaling about fearful thoughts also helps get them out of your head so you can focus on your work.
  • Avoid looking bad in case you get seen on Skype. I recommend watching Perry Mason while doing your makeup. You’ll get a whole hour to look good plus relief from corona-virus news while you help him solve a murder.
  • Vacuuming is a good exercise and very positive. Walking is also great.  A walk 15 minutes one way returns a 30 minute workout.

Painting is a fun activity! Schedule some time for fun and breaks. Or, add a beautiful painting to look at!
