Unite with Related Colors and Shapes
Happy Halloween! In “Pumpkin Spice”, there are several varieties of Pumpkins to explore, including the ever popular basic orange. The very shape and color of each pumpkin can inspire a design for carving your Jack –o’-Lantern. When our daughter Monica was 3, she was a big fan of Sesame Street’s “Bert” and took that doll everywhere. That year we carved a tall skinny “Bert” pumpkin and added a short squatty pumpkin for Ernie.
In “Pumpkin Spice”, the colors are united by the color yellow. Yellow plus blue makes green and yellow plus red makes orange. The few yellow pumpkins stand out because of their size and placement.
