Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd
Merry Christmas! The focus of “Sanctuary” is the celebration of joy that flows from the community and service of its members. With considerable effort, two paintings were created to suggest the atmosphere and beauty of the church and even more to show the fellowship, and the power and grace of Good Shepherd as members unite.
It has been an honor to create two paintings that depict The Sanctuary and The Gathering Area of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Moorhead, MN. These paintings were commissioned by a loving anonymous donor to produce custom inspirational cards to and for their members.. It was fascinating to bring her ideas to life. I made a full size sketch on drawing paper, modified it until we agreed on the sketch and then traced that onto watercolor paper.
