Mother’s Day Special on New Spring Videos

Building up Layers of Color for Volume

Dear Friends,

Here is a time lapse short video of me painting Habitat.  Sometimes I paint upside down and sideways. That is to reach areas easier, get a better brushstroke angle, and other times, to see the subject differently. The layering of washes you see help create volume and depth. Painting Habitat required many layers and much planning. It sure would be amazing to paint this fast! I hope you enjoy the video created by my neighbor Noah Swenson.

I now have two new videos available on my website under workshops edited by Shanna Cramer: “The Color Design Video” & “Building your Center of Interest Video” where I create Habitat. Since it’s been such a tough Spring, I thought you might like something fun to do inside and am offering a 10% pre-issue discount until May 10th. Gift Certificates are available, so send it as a gift soon so they can get the discounted price. Hand outs will be emailed directly to the subscriber so they can paint along. You just log back onto my site and watch it again and again!

Sincerely,
