Dramatic Sunsets
I am sure you have been mesmerized by a sunset more than once. They say so much about the day, the water that is in the atmosphere and the power of light. My two shows just went into the sunset this weekend and if you saw them and want to comment, I’d love to share your thoughts next week.
Into the Sun still shows color in the foreground where it is almost a silhouette. A moment later and you would only see very dark shapes. I particularly like the edges in this painting as they suggest movement. See the hat on the cow girl second from the right.
