On Sunday, Paul and I took a road trip through Zion National Park. I don’t know if you have ever been there but the views are breathtaking. We drove in about 5:15 pm right around sunset while the light dazzled the mountains. There was so much to see. I have some great pictures and memories.

It took me a while to learn this, but you can zoom with your iPhone. Just enlarge the image by pulling the square out from the center. You can capture even more than you can see. This works on your videos too. By taking multiple pictures of a scene, you gather more information to use to move around a scene. Gathering imagery is the best way to never run out of your own authentic subject matter to paint.
