I recently attended an online event called Acrylic Live which was fabulous. It was a 4 day online interactive zoom with famous artists teaching various qualities and skills for using acrylic. I even took the beginning day (as I have never taken a beginning acrylic class) which provided some unknown helpful basic tips. Blue Songbird was a paint-a-long piece from the workshop and will be for sale at the Square Foot Show at BAGA – Bismarck Art & Galleries Association. May be you have heard some songbirds singing about spring lately?
At BAGA, two of my pieces valued at $500.00 each, and around 125 paintings by 70 regional artists, are all for sale for only $160! People line up at the doors to get first pick for this popular annual fundraiser. The opening is from 5-7 pm on Tuesday May 6th, and the show runs through May 30th.
P.S. I got to see my painting Pacific Palisades at the Fallbrook Art Center’s 16th Annual Signature Watercolor Exhibition which goes through May 17th.
