Primary Mums – Mini Original Gouache

Primary Mums is another one of Ellen Jean Diederich’s mini original gouaches. Features yellow mums in a red pot.

Behind the Process: While practicing Gouache for my workshop, I made some lovable small studies, and Darin selected individual beautiful frames for Primary Mums. It was good to study a single subject close up. The backgrounds with subtle diagonals give them a dynamic touch. I love the balance of primary colors in this piece.

The original image is sized at 4 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ and framed at 10 1/4″ x 11 1/2″. It is perfect for gifting or adding to any space!
