Russian Sage – Mini Original Gouache

Russian Sage is a mini original gouache of Garden Harmony by Ellen Jean Diederich.

This painting features a neo-impressionist bunch of vibrant Russian Sage on a sidewalk. These violet and blue hues are harmonious with a touch of the complementary color yellow featured at the bottom of the painting.

Behind the process: I have been admiring a neighbor’s Russian Sage and decided to use it as a lesson with my students for my Beginning Gouache class. This is a delightful original and a perfect gift size. It is framed beautifully and is a great addition to any space!
