Paul & I went to Pinehurst for a meeting. The very classical looking white buildings had modern up-to-date furnishings. This porch was the front of the building with the spa. I started painting this with all enthusiasm, but stopped. The building faced bushes blocking a parking lot. Not knowing how to finish it, the piece ended up in my closet for 2 or more years. It was worth the wait. Shooting lakeside photos, I walked out and took pictures from the hill at the Castaway Club on Pelican Lake and photographed the tree in front of the water. It felt right. Who wouldn’t want to sit out and look at the lake.
This orginal is matted in an off white and framed in a white curved moulding with a silver design. Truly beautiful!
