I was in northern Minnesota and saw these longhorns with these beautiful horses. It rather shocked me as the horses were standing side by side at the feeder not letting the young cattle in. A farmer told me, the young cattle are often put with the horses at a young age, so they learn the horses are in charge. Here is a great example. With those long horns, I would think they could just turn their head and poke them, to get in the feeder. The horses are much stronger than the cattle.
