Poise is an original watercolor painting by Ellen Jean Diederich of a Red Canna Lily.
In this painting, the Red Canna Lily’s beauty is accented by using Orange highlights and Violet shadows. The power of the color is accentuated by being dramatically placed against smaller quantities of complementary varied Greens. This dynamic shape is beautifully counterbalanced by a small Fuchsia bud.
