Floral Fireworks – Impressionist Floral Giclée Reproduction by Ellen Jean Diederich
Inspired by the sun-drenched southern patio beds of my garden, “Floral Fireworks” features Ageratums and Red Dahlias that capture the untamed joy of a summer that refused to end. I placed them in on my southern patio beds and would cut them down for bouquets and they would immediately pop more beautiful fresh flowers. These star-like Ageratums grew with such vigor that they provided fresh bouquets well into October, a gift of nature that I painted into this vibrant composition.
It masterfully guides your eye through a rhythmic dance of petals, intentionally limiting detail in some areas to let the most important shapes breathe. Some flowers blend softly into their surroundings, while others contrast sharply, creating a dynamic sense of depth and focus that mimics the way we experience a real, living garden.
This beautiful painting is available as a giclée in two sizes: 22” x 30” & 18” x 14”.
