Daisy Doodles

This playful paitning is a result of exactly that – play. It takes overlapping to a whole new level.  Daisy Doodles  began with the idea to introduce strong warm colors into the background using a grid.   Gouache was added to it to play with some more opaque colors and add to the depth and the grid disappeared.   I like how the yellow breaks through the middle and run into a large violet flower.  I haven’t painted many daisies since I first started painting and it was fun.
