The Bismarck Art & Galleries Association (BAGA) is proud to present its largest and longest-running art exhibition, the 81st Annual Fall Art Show, on view October 7–30, 2025. This juried exhibit showcases 242 works of art by 88 artists from across the region, continuing a legacy that began in the early 1940s.
Juror Micah Bloom, artist and instructor at Minot State University, has selected the Best of Show Award, 20 Juror’s Choice Awards, and 10 Honorable Mentions. In addition, BAGA will present the Paige Pederson Memorial Award, People’s Choice Award, Volunteer of the Year, and the prestigious Citation Award.
The Citation Award, given annually since 1946, recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact on the arts in North Dakota. The Volunteer of the Year Award highlights the dedication of a community member whose tireless efforts strengthen BAGA’s mission.
Cherise Pfaff, Executive Director of BAGA, emphasizes the importance of the community in sustaining the show’s legacy:
“This show, which started in the early 1940s, continues to thrive thanks to the devotion of arts enthusiasts dedicated to supporting and celebrating our local creatives. We truly couldn’t achieve this without their passion and support.”
Adding to the celebration, selected works from the Fall Art Show will have an extended life beyond BAGA’s galleries. The Elsa Forde Gallery at Bismarck State College and the Clairmont Gallery at the University of Mary will each feature chosen pieces following the exhibition.
