2025 Spring Gala: Color Flings
To bid at the Plains Art Museum Spring Gala, you can place bids online or at the event. You can pre-register for the auction and set a maximum bid beforehand. This means the bidding system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your set maximum. You can also browse the auction items and place bids online before the evening begins. If you can’t attend, you can still place bids and pick up your artwork later.

- Pre-Register and Purchase Tickets:
Ensure you have purchased tickets for the Spring Gala. Givebutter provides information on purchasing tickets.
- Pre-bidding:
Online pre-bidding opens on April 21st. You can access the auction platform through the link provided by Givebutter or by visiting qrco.de/auction25.
- Set Your Max Bid:
Before the event begins, set your maximum bid for each item you’re interested in. This means the system will automatically bid on your behalf, up to that amount.
- On the Night of the Gala:
- Check In: Check in at the registration desk with your QR code ticket (sent via email) or a printed version.
- Enjoy the Event: While the gala is ongoing, the auction platform will continue to bid on your behalf until you reach your max bid.
- Pick Up Your Artwork:
You can pick up your winning artwork on Wednesday, May 7th.

This year’s theme, Color Flings, invites you to color your mood. You may want to emerge from winter in your boldest and brightest colors, or you may choose varying hues of one color only. Explore new colors—have an affair (a fling, if you will) with a color not in your typical palette.
