This is my former cat “Ole” who starred in my gold medal award-winning children’s book, “Where’s Petunia?” Ole used to sit on the couch, and from that perch, he could look out windows from either behind or in front of him, watch for birds and visitors. When I sat there, he would lie down on my chest and watch. If the doorbell rang, he would choose either to ignore, walk over and hang out, or growl a warning to me.
