Sunshine Graze

These Angus cattle had come over the hill from the ranch on the other side.  It was actually raining when I took the photo. Because of that, my very distinct goal for Sunshine Graze that had absolutely nothing to do with sunshine. The hill came across when I added an open area in the trees and a few dawdling cows and in the process, the colors were adjusted.  The painting began to glimmer with light when violet and blue shadows were added, enhancing its golden tones.

This painting is stunningly framed with a combination moulding.
