San Andreas I

I never thought I would want to see the San Adreas fault until family friends recommended it and read the 5-star reviews. It became a haunting curiosity, but Paul and I finally bit the apple and invited friends to join us. First, we learned about the Indians seeing how they captured drinking water and ground the pods on strange plant with a rock that was their primary food source.  Our entertaining driver drove us around and led us between these rocks in San Andreas I to see their mysterious beauty. The dramatically angled stone is a key descriptive factor.

The colors in his painting were fascinating and I enjoyed painting the lighting on the rocks. This piece have lovely simple walnut frame
