You are invited to the 5th annual California Desert Plein Air Festival to be held at the Artists center in Palm Desert California.  There are 3 different thematic categories in the overall exhibition. Works are Invited, Juried In and Painted Plein Air (painted at 4 specific locations or of artist’s choice January 10-13).

The Artist Center is open 10am-4pm Wednesdays-Sundays
Exhibition closes 2:00 pm February 1st.

Artist’s Reception and Awards Ceremony public event from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday January 16th.  Tickets to the opening are $40.00 or the show is open free to the public other hours.  Tickets can be purchased prior to the opening   https://www.artistscouncil.com/exhibitions

Ellen Jean Diederich has 2 pieces in the Juried exhibition and 3 in the Desert/Cityscape Plein Air Competition.
