Provisions is an Original Watercolor Painting by Ellen Jean Diederich featuring a silo and hay bales. The Backstory: Highway 22 from Dickinson, ND, passes by miles of ranch and public land with an occasional curve. Provisions literally was painted from a scene “out in the middle of nowhere” from photos I took on our journeys to ND back from California. I didn’t see any deer as we drove by, but these bales needed fences around them for a good reason. I almost want to apologize, as I took quite a bit of artistic liberty roughing up the fences, which in reality were tall, strong, and impenetrable but certainly not photogenic.
This painting is framed beautifully with a ginger colored frame (see picture) and is perfect for any space!
