Seeing these pink bougainvillea backlighting these cacti at a stoplight made me circle back for to take their picture. Garden Posts features tall narrow plants called Post Cactus arranged in a rock garden with round Pineapple Agave in the foreground. The light pink Bougainvillea in the background complement the warm intense greens of the cactus. It was exciting to paint them on a large scale.
I love the energy of this piece and impressive 40″ x 60″ x 1.5″ canvas. It can be displayed without a frame or framed to fit your decor. If you would like me to paint the sides (currently black) to continue the image I am happy to do that for an additional $250.00.
