This original watercolor painting captures a quiet, sun-drenched moment in downtown Fargo, where the streets are lined with the alternating hanging baskets of Petunias featured in my book, “Where’s Petunia?”  It was exciting to paint to paint the reflections through the glass walkway of the Sanford Clinic on Broadway in Fargo. I love the woman crossing the street with flowers to cheer someone up; drawing your eye immediately to her journey, she is on her way to cheer someone up with a fresh bouquet symbolizing a simple act of kindness that makes this scene a favorite for anyone who loves the spirit of our community.

This painting is floated in a natural off white with a Burgandy liner in a dark simple but contemporary frame.
