Behind the piece: The Great Northern Depot, featured in this painting, was originally built in 1906. In the late 90’s it went through multiple restaurants unsuccessfully, but now it houses the Great Northern Bicycle Co. in downtown Fargo, ND. The historic charm of this depot always has me returning.
