Behind the piece: You can board a ferry to the Island of Catalina from Long Beach, California. The sea breeze will surely ignite your senses to explore and taste the island. Fish & Chips were definitely an attraction, as well as cold beer, ice cream, and a variety of merchant wares for the tourists near the boardwalk. There is always a sideshow in the marina to watch as small boats navigate crews and tourists through a water parking lot of yachts.
