This beautiful Canvas Giclée was created from the Original Acrylic painting by Ellen Jean Diederich.
This piece was born from leftover paint rubbed onto a fresh canvas; it evolved from a mysterious red shape into a vibrant celebration of the Wisconsin Dells in late September.
“Country Plaid” captures the spirit of a back-road detour through a landscape of colorful fall trees and bluffs. The painting features a striking red barn with a green roof, traditionally centered but modernly reimagined through a playful, colorful transparent grid.
This scene was inspired by Ellen’s drive by some beautiful fall trees in the Wisconsin Dell area, she finally pulled off the road to take pictures of the bluffs in late September.
