St Joseph’s Cathedral – Original Acrylic on Paper
I had admired this cathedral one fall. However this view was blocked by the trees. When I drove up the hill one sunny day, I could see it clearly and had my camera. Adding the fall foliage was so beautiful against the greys.
I began painting this piece as a demonstration for the Red River Watercolor Society- using acrylic paint as a transparent media. Drybrushing with acrylic added some beautiful texture to this original painting. It is also available as a giclée.
