This is my former cat “Ole” who starred in my gold medal award-winning children’s book, “Where’s Petunia?” Ole used to sit on the couch, and from that perch, he could look out windows from either behind or in front of him, watch for birds and visitors. When I sat there he would lie down on my chest and watch. If the door bell rang, he would choose either to ignore, walk over and hang out or growl a warning to me. On Halloween he would walk back and forth on the couch and we received many compliments about our handsome cat…perhaps he was listening.
