I went early to the Stables in Medora, a few years back, and am still painting scenes from my photography. It was early enough to see the cowgirls working hard to prepare for the trail riders. I loved this sweet looking mare, patiently anticipating the saddle about to be hoisted onto her back. The strength of this cowgirl was also admirable.
This painting is in the framing process. It will have a contemporary squared burl moulding in dark brown and is floated in the mat to show the rough edge of the torn watercolor paper. Contact me right away if you would like to select your own framing.
