Fourth of July by Ellen Jean Diederich
Bike riding was one of my joys as a child. I enjoyed the breeze biking down the street and felt such freedom. Getting my own brand new bike was a very special! It was a proud moment when I learned to ride with no hands and could keep up with my peers.
“Fourth of July” is on display at the 80th Annual Watercolor Society of Alabama’s National Exhibition until July 25th at the Tuscaloosa Arts Center. The different sized varied groupings of lines and rectangles spread throughout the piece make it unique. The boys T-shirt contrasts nicely against the dark green trees.
Sincerely, Ellen Jean Diederich
