Description
The big beautiful Colorado tree on the left haunted me to paint “Roadside Stop”. It has an amazing sphere-like shape. Some trees just stand out. Like the huge elm tree on country road 108 between I94 towards Pelican Rapids, MN. If you mention it – people know what tree you are talking about. It is proof to the fact if you plant something in good ground it will grow as big as it can.
The ski shop had great sineage inviting one to stop.
Roadside Stop won the Dick Blick Merchandise Award at the Red River Watercolor Society’s 2024 National Online Watermedia Exhibition.
