Off-set Lithographs are traditional color reproductions. This is the correct name for what most people call prints. The original painting is scanned and the image is color corrected into dot patterns which are separated into the primary colors and black ink. The dot patterns are burned into plates and lined up “perfectly” and layering each printed color. Together they create a beautiful reproduction that is smooth (this is the same process used on my note cards).
