Giclée is French word meaning “spraying of ink”. A water-based dye is sprayed directly onto watercolor paper. The edges are torn to give the work a deckled edge to display the high quality of the paper. The torn edge can be covered with a matt for traditional framing or floated and raised to show off this beautiful edge. I believe this is the best way reproduce a watercolor and it is difficult for me to tell the difference between them and the original. If not satisfied with the giclee you can return in10 days for a full refund.
