Creative Watercolor Techniques

Creative Watercolor Techniques - sponsored by the Brush and Pallette Club -, in Alexandria Minnesota. This class is designed to explore technique and design to create new imagery. Previous painting experience is required. We will be adopting all types of water- media including, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, watercolor pencil, metallic paints. We will design and create two paintings one using the grid. Please join us and add your insight to the painting process.

Cost of your workshop is: $150 for members, $180 for nonmembers, our club dues are $24.00 in case anyone is interested in joining the club. We will also be adding 2 snacks and a light lunch for each day included in the price (something new we are trying) The class will be in the fellowship hall at the United Methodist Church, 2210 E 6th Ave. in Alex.

Beginning Watercolor Workshop

This workshop is designed to give you solid watercolor skills combined with design that will help lead you to design and create your own paintings. In this class we will have a fun session on painting your pets or favorite animal. Painters take Ellen’s workshops because she helps them learn and loosen up in a relaxed and fun classroom atmosphere. You will work at your own level, on subject matter of your choice. Diederich will provide a wealth of information through multiple demonstrations, discussions and personal assistance. There will be a strong emphasis on the power of the basics, particularly shapes, color and value.
